Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does this service work? Our service makes small transactions on your credit card to help you reach specific transaction count goals. You can choose between a one-time charge or a subscription plan with various amounts (50¢, $1, or $5), all designed to help you hit your rewards thresholds.
2. Is this service secure? Absolutely! We use industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information. Every transaction is processed securely, and we never store sensitive card details on our site.
3. Are there any hidden fees? No hidden fees here. We believe in transparent pricing, so you only pay for the transactions you choose. There are no additional costs beyond the transaction amounts.
4. Can I write off my donations for tax purposes? Unfortunately not, since Card Companion is not a 501c3 organization yet. While we plan on applying to be an accredited charity in the future, the tax requirements are too complicated for a small organization like us. At this point, the primary purpose of this service is to help our users maximize their card benefits through processing small payments, with the end goal of passing on profits to charity.
5. Can I cancel my subscription anytime? Yes! You have full control and can cancel your subscription anytime through your account, or you can contact our customer service team at Support@CardCompanion.com. There are no long-term commitments at Card Companion.
6. Why would I need small transactions on my card? Many rewards programs require a minimum number of transactions to unlock bonuses or higher reward levels. If you're close to your goal and don’t want to make unnecessary purchases, our service helps you get there with small, controlled charges.
7. Can I get a refund if I don’t reach my rewards goal? Since our service provides a transaction-based service rather than a guaranteed rewards outcome, refunds aren’t offered for completed transactions.
8. How are you able to offer this service? Put simply, we take a small portion of each transaction. While our original goal was to process microtransactions as small as $0.25 each, the average online credit card fees from vendors and payment processors are actually far higher than that, so we needed to do payments of $1.00 minimum in order to cover our own operational costs.
